Mainagapally Thevalakara Bathanya Bhavan was visited under the auspices of Grand Rural Library Mainagapalli and Sri Shankaracharya Sanskrit University NSS Unit. District Panchayat Welfare Standing Committee Chairman Adv. Anil S. Kallelibagha inaugurated the event.

V Shantini, who won the bronze medal in the state panchagusti competition, was felicitated on the occasion and gifts were distributed to the inmates. Campus Director Dr. KP Vijayalakshmi, Dr. KB Selvamani, Dr. Tara SS, Ward Member Radhika Omanakuttan, Soman Muthezham, S. Devarajan, Jose Kunnel, Ananthakrishanan, Anjana and Alan .P. Mohandas spoke. Kuttas also organized a song festival.
