Thiruvananthapuram: Vivek Nair has been accused of falsely claiming that the molestation complaint leveled against him during the Youth Congress Chintan camp was false. Vivek told Asianet News Hour that his colleagues in the Youth Congress were behind the complaint. Vivek also explained that he was suspended for misbehaving with another leader.
The complaint is that Vivek Nair misbehaved with a representative woman member during the Youth Congress think tank held in Palakkad. The female member’s letter contains serious allegations that Vivek Nair, who was drunk, forced her to share a bed, touched her private parts, etc. Coming from the Dalit community, he is facing many problems in the organization. This is one of them. The complainant says that many women workers are facing the same problem and in the complaint given to Kerala’s in-charge secretary Pushpalatak.
