The couple’s connection stems from their shared academic background. According to Uma Thomas’s post, Agna Joy was a year junior to Vivek Thomas during their time in law college. This shared foundation in legal studies appears to have blossomed into a deep and lasting relationship.

Vivek Thomas is the younger of two children born to Uma Thomas and the late P.T. Thomas. P.T. Agna Joy is the daughter of Joy John and Salome, residents of Anokaran house in Kanimangalam, Thrissur. The engagement ceremony, scheduled for Saturday, will be a simple and intimate affair.
