Vivo has launched a new entry-level phone called the Vivo Y02

Vivo has launched a new market phone called the Vivo Y02, which we can say is a real entry-level device, with an extremely low price despite the design on the back that looks, at least at first glance, quite modern.

Vivo Y02 is based on the very old MediaTek Helio P22 processor, a processor that was launched about four years ago but is still winning sales, it turns out. And it’s not just the processor: together with it, the phone offers a choice between 2 and 3 gigabytes of working memory alongside only 32 gigabytes of built-in storage memory – numbers that characterized phones a few years ago. At least there is a slot for a memory expansion card.

The IPS screen is 6.51 inches and unsurprisingly it only offers HD+ resolution. On the front, the notch has a 5-megapixel camera, and on the back, despite the design and the prominent island, there is only one camera with an 8-megapixel sensor. The battery has a good volume of 5,000 mAh, but charging is at a maximum power of only 10 watts through a microUSB 2.0 connection.

There is support for Bluetooth 5.0, 4G, and there is an option for dual SIM. There is also a 3.5 mm connection. The operating system is Android 12 in the light Go version. Accordingly, the price is only about 99 dollars.
