Vivo launched the V27 series globally

Vivo has announced that it is starting the global launch of the phones in the V27 family. The family includes three phones. V27 and V27 Pro are similar in design and almost everything else except the processor, and V27e offers a more simplistic design.

V27 and 27 Pro are equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, and the back of the device is also coated with protected glass, and it is convex to the sides just like the front of the device. Under the screen is a fingerprint sensor. The processor underneath is different: Dimensity 8200 in the V27 Pro and Dimensity 7200 in the basic Vivo 27, but both offer 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage.

Both phones also offer the same three cameras. The main one with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V sensor, with an f/1.88 aperture lens. The ultra-wide camera has an 8-megapixel sensor, and there’s a 2-megapixel macro camera. The selfie camera has a 50-megapixel sensor. The battery has a working volume of 4,600 mAh with support for charging at a maximum power of 66 watts. The operating system is Android 13 with version 13 of FunTouch OS on top and there is support for 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6.

As mentioned, Vivo 27e is flat in front and back. There are of course differences beyond that. For example, its screen size is 6.62 inches, and the processor underneath is Helio G99. Unsurprisingly, there are also differences in the cameras. The selfie camera has a 32-megapixel sensor. On the back, the main camera has a 64-megapixel sensor with f/1.79 aperture and PDAF support. Beyond that there is a macro camera and a depth of field camera. Both are 2 megapixels. Everything else is the same, but there is no NFC support.
