Vivo has launched a new smartphone model from the vivo V40 Series, which includes the V40 5G and V40 Pro 5G, featuring ZEISS lenses to enhance portrait photography, concluding with a mobile camera.
Vivo Thailand has introduced the vivo V40 5G and vivo V40 Pro 5G smartphones in collaboration with ZEISS, a lens expert brand from Germany.
The vivo V40 5G and vivo V40 Pro 5G utilize ZEISS multifocal lenses, specifically focusing on portrait photography. Vivo aims to elevate smartphone portrait photography to be nearly comparable to that of professional-grade cameras. Additionally, there are 7 Zeiss Style Bokeh options to choose from, according to the photography style.
The difference between the camera systems of the vivo V40 5G and vivo V40 Pro 5G is that the Pro version features 3 rear cameras, while the standard version has 2.
The rear camera system of the vivo V40 Pro 5G consists of a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS stabilization, followed by a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 119-degree field of view, supporting autofocus for landscape photography. The front camera of the vivo V40 Pro 5G is a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
The vivo V40 5G has a similar rear camera setup as the vivo V40 Pro 5G, except it does not include the telephoto camera.

The vivo V40 5G and vivo V40 Pro 5G will be available for purchase tomorrow, August 30. The vivo V40 5G will be sold in two versions: 12GB+256GB priced at 15,999 THB and 12GB+512GB priced at 17,999 THB, available in three colors: Stellar Silver, Nebula Purple, and Sunglow Peach.
The vivo V40 Pro 5G will be available in a single version of 12GB+512GB priced at 24,999 THB, available only in Stellar Silver color.
