Vivo X80 Lite: What we know so far

Rumors suggest that the Vivo X80 Lite will use a mid-range chipset inside, such as the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 or the MediaTek Dimensity 8100.

It is important to note that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 was recently unveiled at the end of last month, and no smartphones have been launched in India featuring the chip. Devices like the Oppo Reno 8 Pro have been launched with the chipset, while the much promoted Nothing Phone 1 is also recommended to run with the same chipset. The processor is a successor to the previous mid-range Snapdragon 778G chip.

So far, there are no details regarding the other alleged specifications of the Vivo X80 Lite. The Vivo X80 and X80 Pro have already been launched in India, priced at Rs 54,990 and Rs 79,990 respectively. The Vivo X80 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, while the Vivo X80 Pro features a first-generation Snapdragon 8 processor. The flagship smartphone also comes with features like 360-degree horizontal stabilization, cinematic bokeh mode, and more – in a 50MP quad rear camera setup.

It is not clear how much of these features will also flow to the Vivo X80 Lite. The latter will serve as the premiere for the main X series.
