Vivo X90 series launches globally next week

by time news

Launched Vivo X90 series of flagship phones in China in late November 2022, as the series offers advanced camera systems bearing the Zeiss brand with powerful and versatile lenses. But those who wanted to get the series devices had to wait for some time for a global release, but the company finally confirmed the launch date.

The Chinese brand announced its global launch of the Vivo X90 series on the third of February 2023, specifically at ten in the evening GMT on February 2, or six in the morning GMT +8 on February 3 on its global website, although it did not reveal specific markets until right Now. However, we believe that the phones will be available in Europe, India and the Middle East.

It is not clear if all phones in the series will hit the market, but the camera text on the back of the phone above indicates that we are looking at the Vivo X90 Pro at least.

The Vivo X90 Pro brings a Mediatek Dimensity 9200 SoC, a 6.78-inch OLED display with up to 120Hz frequency (2800 x 1260), a 4870mAh battery, 120W wired charging, 50W wireless speeds, and an IP68 rating. This device also offers a 50MP IMX989 main camera, a 50MP 2x telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.

With this, we hope to see the latest model or the Vivo X90 Pro Plus as well. It offers a second-generation Snapdragon 8 chipset, a 6.78-inch QHD+ OLED screen with a frequency of up to 120Hz, a 4700mAh battery with 80W wired charging, 50W wireless charging capacity, and an IP68 rating. The Pro Plus is at the top of the hill when it comes to photography, offering a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 2x telephoto camera, a 64MP 3.5x camera, and a 48MP ultra-wide lens.

Either way, last year’s Vivo X80 Pro was a great camera-focused flagship phone, but it was a bit pricey in markets like Europe and the Middle East. So we hope to see more competitive prices from these new phones, from the Chinese company.
