Volkswagen Love Edition: Polo, T-Cross, Taigo & ID.3 with £1,700 Trade-In Bonus

by Ahmed Ibrahim World Editor

Volkswagen is offering a limited-time “Love” edition across several of its popular models – Polo, T-Cross, Taigo, and ID.3 – combining attractive features with special pricing, including a 20,000 Czech koruna discount for trade-ins. The promotion, building on the success of last year’s launch, aims to provide value for customers seeking well-equipped vehicles. This initiative comes as Volkswagen continues to navigate a competitive automotive market, seeking to appeal to a broad range of buyers with tailored offerings.

The core of the limited edition, available until the end of June or until stocks last, is the Polo Love. Starting at 379,000 Czech koruna (including the trade-in bonus), the Polo Love builds upon the “People” trim level and features a 70kW TSI engine. Beyond the price point, the vehicle boasts front and rear LED lights, 15-inch alloy wheels, darkened rear windows, a leather multifunction steering wheel, and driver-assistance systems like Front Assist and Lane Assist, along with a rear-view camera. This package aims to deliver a comprehensive set of features at an accessible price.

Expanding the “Love” Lineup: T-Cross and Taigo

The “Love” edition extends beyond the Polo to include the T-Cross, a smaller crossover, and the Taigo, a compact SUV-coupé. The T-Cross Love, similarly based on the “People” trim and powered by a 70kW engine, starts at 479,000 Czech koruna with the trade-in bonus. It adds 17-inch alloy wheels, the Travel Assist system with adaptive cruise control, and a metallic paint finish to the standard features. Practicality is also enhanced with keyless entry and start, front and rear parking sensors, a fully foldable front passenger seat, and wireless mobile connectivity.

Stepping up in style and performance, the Taigo Love, priced from 490,000 Czech koruna (including the bonus), builds on the “Style” trim level and features an 85kW engine. It incorporates the Travel Assist system, LED Matrix headlights, automatic dual-zone climate control, an upgraded infotainment system, and parking sensors and a camera. The Taigo aims to appeal to buyers seeking a more dynamic and technologically advanced driving experience.

Electric Option: ID.3 GTX Performance Fire+ICE

Rounding out the “Love” edition is the all-electric ID.3, offered in a high-performance variant. The ID.3 GTX Performance Fire+ICE, priced from 979,900 Czech koruna with the trade-in incentive, represents the premium offering within the lineup. This version boasts a 240kW output and a 79kWh battery, promising a range of up to 577 kilometers. Charging capabilities include 11kW AC and 185kW DC fast charging.

The ID.3 GTX Performance Fire+ICE also includes an adaptive DCC chassis, 20-inch alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlights, and a head-up display with augmented reality. All vehicles in the “Love” edition come with a three-year or 90,000-kilometer warranty. Volkswagen’s move to offer these enhanced packages with trade-in incentives reflects a broader strategy to boost sales and attract customers considering a new vehicle.

A Strategic Push for Volkswagen

This “Love” edition represents a strategic effort by Volkswagen to offer compelling value propositions across its model range. By bundling popular features and offering a trade-in bonus, the company aims to entice buyers and maintain momentum in a dynamic market. The availability of these editions is limited, creating a sense of urgency for potential customers. The success of this campaign will likely influence Volkswagen’s future promotional strategies and product offerings.

Volkswagen has been actively expanding its electric vehicle lineup, recently celebrating the sale of two million electric vehicles according to Novinky.cz. The inclusion of the ID.3 GTX Performance Fire+ICE in the “Love” edition underscores the company’s commitment to promoting electric mobility alongside its traditional combustion engine models.

Customers interested in taking advantage of the “Love” edition offers are encouraged to visit their local Volkswagen dealership before the end of June or while supplies last. The company’s website provides further details on specifications, and availability.
