Volkswagen wants to launch ten new electric models by 2026 and will focus especially on the Chinese market. Volkswagen has a plan of several tens of billions of euros for “electrification” and presented it on Monday a kind of electric Passat, model ID 7which will have a maximum range of 700 km.

Volkswagen had lagged behind in the full-electric chapter, but it started to recover quickly from 2022 and all the brands in the group are accelerating the launches of electrics, and some will launch only electrics after 2030.
