Three games from the fifth round of the home stage of the men’s volleyball Premier League were held tonight (Tuesday). In the top house, the Maccabi Tel Aviv doubles team defeated MS. Eilabun, Hapoel Galil Mate Asher / Acre defeated Maccabi Hod Hasharon, and the two teams from Tel Aviv and Mate Asher – look ready for the fascinating meeting between them this coming Friday. In the lower house, Hapoel Aryot Yerushalayim defeated the academy team.
Upper house
Maccabi Tel Aviv – MS. Eilabun 0: 3 (19:25, 16: 25,21: 25)
Another victory for Maccabi Tel Aviv that conquers another peak every week with breaking a record of consecutive victories without losing a battle and puts it already at 14 games. MS Eilabun on the other hand will try to recover in the next games of the Upper House and can take comfort in the fact that the two games with Maccabi Tel Aviv are already behind them.
Maccabi Tel Aviv excelled: Foyer with 16 points and Bechkala with 13 points
In MS. Eilabun excelled: Healing with 14 points and Nuns with 12 points
Maccabi Hod Hasharon – Hapoel Galil Mate Asher / Acre 3: 1 (25:11, 21:25, 25:15, 25:20)
An important victory below which in a tense game tonight in Hod Hasharon. The first set went easily down which but then the players of Hod Hasharon woke up and won the second set. But a team that did not panic and advanced to the third set with only one goal, a victory in the two remaining sets so as not to lose a point in the important battle in the league. In the end, the two systems did go down, which temporarily occupies the first place in the table with excess play.
Hapoel Galil Mate Asher / Acre excelled: Nov with 16 points and Honey with 13 points
Maccabi Mosinson Hod Hasharon excelled: Tabakon with 16 points and Goz with 11 points
Lower house
Academy Team – Hapoel Aryot Jerusalem 3: 1 (16:25, 25:14, 25:23, 25:19)
The academy team started the game strongly and won the first set, in Jerusalem they knew that a loss here would give them a blow in trying to reach one of the first two places that will lead to the playoffs at the end of the lower house games. The Jerusalemites recovered and won the next three sets and the entire game.
Hapoel Jerusalem excelled: Jarois with 23 points and Sikoko with 21 points.
The academy team excelled: Karpov with 17 points and Rora with 11 points.
