The new coach of women’s volleyball “Levski” Radoslav Arsov, who returned to work in Bulgaria from Russia, wants the team to fight with the hegemon “Maritsa” for the title.
“I hope I made the right choice. I have worked for many years in both France and Russia. Now I see that everything possible is being done to develop volleyball here. The conditions are wonderful, I am at home, in Sofia”, began Arsov.
“The goal is to enjoy a championship title in the women’s division of “Levski” as well. We’ve always had ambitions. What won me over is the opportunity to develop these young wonderful girls. Let them achieve success here and go play in the stronger European championships. We have to fight with “Maritsa” for the championship title. The ball is feminine, anything is possible.
Working with women is always interesting. It also depends on the psyche, because early in the morning some girl may have a beautiful manicure, while others may not have one.
Women are extremely resilient. If you gain their trust, they are very hardworking and loyal.
From a purely structural and marketing point of view, Levski is ready. We have to give ourselves a period of one or two years. During this time we will fight, it is good to be finalists. But let’s not skip the stages. In the third year at the latest, we must achieve great success”, said Arsov.
