jpnn.comJAKARTA – Kawan Bang Zaki volunteers have proposed the duet of Ahmad Zaki Iskandar and Kaesang Pangarep as the candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta in the upcoming regional elections.
Kawan Bang Zaki volunteer coordinator, Muhammad Fauzan Irvan, stated that the combination of Zaki’s political experience and Kaesang’s appeal among young voters would be a major strength in this contest.
“We believe this duet can bring positive changes to Jakarta,” said Fauzan in his statement, Tuesday (9/7).
He said Ahmad Zaki has a proven track record in leading Tangerang Regency with various successful innovations and programs.
“Meanwhile, Kaesang Pangarep has great potential to attract young voters and inspire a new generation with his fresh and energetic vision,” he continued.
Fauzan also added that the Zaki-Kaesang duet is believed to be able to defeat the pair Anies Baswedan and Sohibul Iman, known as the AMAN pair, in the 2024 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election.
“With the combination of Zaki’s experience and the innovation and youthful spirit brought by Kaesang, we are confident that we can offer a better alternative and answer Jakarta’s future challenges,” he explained.
He emphasized that Ahmad Zaki Iskandar, who served as Regent of Tangerang for two terms, has an impressive track record.
