Voting abroad for the Presidential Election and the 28th Term Parliamentary Election to be held on May 14 begins today. Voting in 73 countries and 156 foreign representative offices will end on 9 May.
Vienna and its surroundings
Citizens will be able to cast their votes between 09:00 and 21:00 at the ballot boxes to be set up between April 27 and May 9 at the Vienna Consulate General’s headquarters in 13th Vienna.
Linz and its surroundings
For citizens living in Linz and its surroundings, between 29 April and 1 May, Volkshaus Ebelsberg – Kremsmünsterer Str. Voting will take place between 09:00 and 18:00 at 1-3.
Graz and its surroundings
For citizens living in and around Graz, voting will take place at Schmiedgasse 2 from 29 April to 1 May between 09:00 and 18:00.
Salzburg and its surroundings
Citizens living in Salzburg and its surroundings can vote between 09:00 and 21:00 at the Salzburg Consulate General, Strubergasse 9, between 27 April and 9 May.
Innsbruck and its surroundings
Citizens living in and around Innsbruck can vote between 09:00 and 21:00 at Congress Innsbruck – Rennweg 3 from April 29 to May 1.
Bregenz and its surroundings
Citizens who have the right to vote in Bregenz and its surroundings can make their choices by coming to the Consulate General of Bregenz, Sender Strasse number 10, between 09:00 and 21:00 between 27 April and 9 May.
Voting for the second round will begin on May 20.
The process of “voting at the customs gates”, prepared for those registered in the foreign election register to vote, will end on Sunday, May 14 at 17:00.
It can be done between 09:00-21:00 local time on weekdays and weekends between the dates announced for the representative offices, and between 09:00-18:00 local time in the cities affiliated to the consulate generals.
In the event that the presidential election goes to the second round, foreign voters will be able to vote between 20-24 May. Voting at the customs gates will start at 08:00 on Saturday, May 20 and will continue until 17:00 on Sunday, May 28, Turkey time. (yenivatan.at)
