JF DIORIO/Estadão Contents Strike date has not been set and no service will be affected at the moment

Professionals working in the Flight Protection held an assembly this Saturday, 22, and the partial result of the vote indicates a 94% approval for the declaration of the state of greve. Workers in the sector, which includes professionals such as controllers, meteorologists and aeronautical information technicians, are making the following claims to the NAV Brazil: recovery of inflation, improvements in the conditions of health assistance, premiums that adequately value careers and rescue of losses suffered during the pandemic considering that the category did not stop. Lucas Borba, director of communication for the National Union of Flight Protection Workers (SNTPV), said that no service will be affected at this time, as they are still seeking to negotiate with the state-owned company. “If the negotiation continues not evolving, we can call the category again, without a specific deadline”, he told Jovem Pan. Negotiation attempts would have started four months ago and so far there has been no success. The company operates in air navigation services at airports such as Guarulhos, Campinas and Santos Dumont, in addition to Approach Controls, such as Macaé, Londrina and Ilheus. In all, the work of professionals takes place in 44 locations. Jovem Pan contacted NAV Brasil, but has not yet received a response.
