During the last weeks, both Tamames and the Vox management had been negotiating the terms of the speech of the motion of no confidence and the content of the government program, but the economist had not yet officially accepted his candidacy.

Tamames assured at the beginning of February that he planned to invite the President of the Government, Pedro Sanchez, to have dinner at his house before the parliamentary session. “I plan to invite him to dinner or to eat at home, to meet us before the session.
