The executive director of the company, Ivan Papazov, emphasized that the most valuable is the investment in the team

VP Brands Internationa -, the leader in the production of wines and high-alcohol beverages in Bulgaria, gave an official start to the 2024 grape harvest campaign by announcing the investment in new 1000 acres of vineyards.

“Only a month ago, we managed to finalize a large-scale deal for the purchase of 1,000 decares of vineyards near Hisarya. This is

the next step in our long-term strategy

for sustainable development and guaranteeing the highest quality of our products”, commented Ivan Papazov, CEO of VP Brands International, when welcoming the first grapes to the cellar in Saedinenie.

“Investment in vineyards, in modern machinery and above all in employees are things I strongly believe in and they will continue to be a key part of the company’s strategic development. The new vineyards will enrich the varietal diversity and help us to ensure an even better resource security for our wines and brandies,” the manager pointed out during the event.

It was also attended by the mayor of Saedinenie Georgi Rumenov. He is proud of the fact that some of the best quality products on the home market are produced right here, and thanks VP Brands International for continuing to invest and develop their production there.

Regarding the harvest, Ivan Papazov stated that the year as climatic conditions is difficult and the grape harvest campaign will be extremely tense. Yields are lower, itself

grapes are smaller but of good quality

“Despite the challenges that nature has offered us, we expect the 2024 harvest to allow us to create wonderful wines and brandies that will meet the high expectations of our customers. The experience of the agronomists and the applied agrotechnical measures give me confidence that we will offer top products as always ” said the executive.

One of the key advantages of VP Brands International, which owns over 20,000 hectares of vineyards, is that they are not concentrated in one place. This greatly gives flexibility in adverse weather conditions.

To compensate for the smaller quantity and high sugar content, VP Brands technologists

will adapt technological practices

Papazov wished the team to be able to deal with the acceptance of the grapes as soon as possible, since the high temperatures have limited the time for grape harvest. The production facilities will operate at full cycle until the entire committed quantity is processed, with the harvest expected to last until October.

The symbolic beginning was given by welcoming Syrah grapes, which the executive director personally inspected. Once again, he thanked the company’s team and emphasized that the employees are the engine for the success and market achievements of VP Brands International.

The company is a leading producer of wines and brandies. Its key brands are “Peshterska” brandy, “Peshtera” mastic and mint, FLIRT vodka, Black Ram whiskey.
