The Ministry of Digital Development plans to update the classifier of Russian software (software), adding to it, in particular, VR and AR software. Now the developers of such products cannot apply for benefits and participate in public procurement, since these solutions cannot be included in the register in their class. The draft order of the Ministry of Digital Development, correcting the situation, was published on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts on November 21.
It follows from the document that a new section and 32 classes of programs will appear in the classifier, in particular virtual and augmented reality systems. The draft order was prepared in accordance with the voting results of the members of the presidium of the government commission for digital development. It should optimize the structure of Russian and Eurasian software registries, as well as facilitate the search for solutions necessary for customers, follows from the explanatory note.
