VTB has fixed a glitch in its online bank, a bank representative told Vedomosti.

“Point restrictions were briefly observed in the work of VTB Online, and some operations could be unavailable. The bank’s specialists promptly eliminated the problems. We apologize to our clients for the inconvenience caused, ”he said.

The Vedomosti correspondent recorded a failure at approximately 11.30 am Moscow time, when he was unable to transfer money from the current account to an individual investment and brokerage account. The VTB application issued the following message: “Error accessing an external system.” Later, the correspondent no longer displayed bank accounts and products in the application.

An employee of the support chat of the bank’s application confirmed that “at the moment, errors may occur when trying to make transfers to VTB-online”. He explained that “transfers / payments are not yet available and invoices and cards may not be displayed”.
