JSC Hotel Company (part of VTB Group) has announced an auction for an increase in the sale of the Courtyard Kazan Kremlin Hotel, located 100 meters from the Kazan Kremlin, Interfax reported. The starting price is 762 million rubles.
Bids from auction participants are accepted until December 24th. The results will be announced on December 27. The current owner, according to the agency, bought the hotel in November 2018.
The Courtyard by Mariott Kazan Kremlin has four stars and is located 100 meters from the Kremlin in Kazan. The lot included a six-story building (one of the floors is underground) with an area of 7000 sq. m, her movable property and a plot of 1800 sq. m.
The company’s website says that it was created in 2009 and combined the hotel assets of the Moscow government. In 2013 the company became part of VTB Group, in January 2016 it received the status of a management company. Now in its portfolio there are four branded objects of four and five stars in three regions of Russia, the Pekin Hotel and 132 premium-class apartments in Moscow and Sochi.
