Alappuzha: CPM is preparing to take action against more people in the incident of recording obscene videos of party supporters on their phones. Earlier Alappuzha South Area Committee member AP Sona was expelled from the party. An explanation will be sought regarding the incident of threats to the complainants.

Another member of the South Area Committee, PD Jayan, has been accused of threats. It has been decided to seek an explanation in the district secretariat meeting held yesterday. If the reply is not satisfactory, the party leadership may take further steps.

The party had received a complaint alleging that Jayan threatened. Based on this, an explanation is sought. A commission consisting of members of the district secretariat, A Mahindran and G Rajamma, conducted an investigation into the incident on the instructions of state secretary MV Govindan.

The district secretariat was assembled yesterday in the presence of state leaders. When some people raised doubts about the allegations against Sona, the video lead given by the complainants was seen. Soon it was decided to expel Sona.
