Best-Selling Cars in Europe in the First Half of 2024
For plug-in hybrid models, the Volvo XC60 takes the lead with 29,903 units, a staggering 42 percent increase. Conversely, the Ford Kuga experienced a 21 percent decline, registering 20,848 units. The BMW X1, meanwhile, witnessed a robust 59 percent growth, reaching 17,669 registrations.
The Dacia Sandero reigns supreme in the overall ranking, with 143,596 vehicles registered, representing a 16 percent surge. The Volkswagen Golf follows closely behind with 126,993 units, experiencing a 43 percent increase. The Renault Clio completes the top three with 114,623 units, an increase of 15 percent.
The Dacia Sandero, Volkswagen Golf, and Renault Clio dominate the list of best-selling cars in Europe during the first half of 2024. The Volkswagen T-Roc maintains its stability with no significant changes in sales figures. The Peugeot 208 shows a modest growth of one percent. Notably, the Citroen C3 witnessed a remarkable 50 percent increase in sales.
