VW Multivan by Delta4x4 is ready for any challenge

by time news

The Volkswagen Multivan is in the seventh generation, or T7, of the German brand’s classic light commercial vehicle, which started with the T1 generation (Typ 2) and today is built on the MQB modular platform.

Technically, the Multivan T7 could be manufactured in Brazil in at least three plants and also in Argentina, since MQB is also present there.

But, with no plans for Brazil, the T7 continues its life in Europe and now more fun with the Delta4x4 team to transform the minivan into a sophisticated off roader car.

Sporting a two-tone paint job, Delta4x4’s Multivan has suspension raised by 40mm, plus custom matte black alloy wheels with Loder AT #1 All-Terrain tires.

The T7 also gained a large roof rack and additional sets of LED lights.

Instead, the Delta4x4 probably gives you the option to strap them in with or without a glossy black bumper add-on.

Delta4x4, however, did not reveal details about the modifications made to the T7 or even the interior of the vehicle, which can be customized.

Apparently, the vehicle shown is the PHEV version of the Multivan, which shares mechanics with the Golf GTE, thus having a 1.4 TSI engine with a six-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission, plus an electric motor clutch.

As is known, Multivan incorporates the eHybrid version and that means 204 horses and 35.5 kgfm combined, as the Golf 8 GTE now has 245 horses.

Transmission options are a six-speed manual or a six- or seven-speed DSG, plus 4Motion front or all-wheel drive.

Modern, it has multiple airbags, traction and stability controls, ADAS+ package with Travel Assist, among others.
