The official account of the Bahraini actress, Wafaa Makki, announced on the social networking site that her health condition is stable after she underwent a tumor removal surgery.
And the account published a short video clip, in which Wafaa’s hand appeared and the serum tubes connected, and added a comment that said: “I would like to assure you that Wafaa came out of the operating room, and her condition is stable, praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.”
A large number of Gulf stars had appealed to the official and medical authorities in Bahrain to stand by Makki, through their own accounts on social networks.
Shaima Sabt said: “Our honorable officials in our beloved Bahrain, you are a treasure and a pride and you do not fall short with us. The Bahraini artist, Wafaa Makki, needs a tumor removal operation as soon as possible. I ask those who have the right to expedite this procedure to save her life.”
