So widely known, there will be no general election this weekend. In this respect, something everyday could work out in the capital, for example checking in at the airport. As is well known, there have been one or two expressions of displeasure from passengers in the past week just because they had to wait three hours. What we find petty. Everyone knows that BER Airport has been optimally built according to the latest findings, so it cannot be because of the functionality. It’s your own fault if you still want to fly these days. And possibly even on the autumn vacation, unheard of. A solution has been found. You could have made more staff available or opened more counters, but that’s how it works: Lufthansa recommends arriving four hours before departure for this weekend.

The premium airline is familiar with such times. The attempt to rebook a flight and, quite unusually, to reserve a seat should be possible on the Internet. There, however, a reference is made to the hotline, which automatically asks you to change your booking on the Internet when you call. Anyone who calls repeatedly and persistently stays on the line will reach a friendly Lufthansa employee after just two and a half hours, in this case in Canada. And the matter is dealt with quickly after another two hours. Four and a half hours hotline, not bad. System problems, says the lady.

It seems to exist elsewhere as well. The newly ordered BMW, says BMW, arrives after months of waiting “either without the desired head-up display or not at all”. Meanwhile, gasoline prices are skyrocketing. And the prices for electricity are exploding, which the new nuclear power plants in France, which will then probably supply, may please be spared. Rien ne va plus, but of course that only applies to roulette.
