“Walls of Hope” in the bridge: prepare the handkerchiefs

After the show “Walls of Hope” ended, there were not many dry eyes left in the audience. including my eyes This rarely happens in the theater. The happening on the stage is so real, that it breaks all the barriers between the actors and the audience. And this rare miracle did happen in “Walls of Hope”.

First of all, here is a powerful story by Stephen King, which also became one of the greatest films of all time.

Behind the bars of the guarded prison in the USA, a group of prisoners, led by an innocent lifer, is conducting a heroic battle for survival. Every person seeking justice must sympathize with this struggle, which is waged against all odds and against the corruption that seeps from the government institutions into the prison walls.

Director Noam Shmuel and Gesher’s excellent cast managed to create a powerful and moving experience, especially in the second part of the show. The first half was too long, slow and sometimes boring. After the break I saw another show.

Uri Yaniv and Yuval Yanai, in the main roles, manage to manage the event with an impressive presence. Alexander Sandrovich and Daniel Tagao are particularly exciting.

“Walls of Hope” gave me back the hope that not only musicals can be made here, but also a theater that is not afraid to take risks and successfully deal with great works of literature. Prepare the handkerchiefs.
