It’s true, the Senegalese artist Wally B. Sheck will be in Conakry on Thursday April 18, 2024 after 7 months of announcement.

With a team of 29 musicians, the possible structure “Guinea Découverte” announces at least 2 hours of 100% live performances with a hot rhythm from Senegalese dancers and instrumentalists.

For Ousmane Conté, the final adjustments are ready for the concert on Saturday April 20.

“Today, it is a great pleasure to be in front of you and it is not the first. This project is really close to my heart as well as my entire team. If you see that we considered it necessary to hold a press briefing, it is because we are too keen on communication. We need to inform people, explain to them what level we are at and let them know what remains, how many percent we are today. We are up to date D-5, already there is the Senegalese delegation arriving on Thursday the 18th in Conakry.

I think on Friday we will have a press conference in the presence of the artist. So we started this project almost seven (07) months, we started communicating very early since September,” informed the general director of Guinée Découverte.

For a first production in Guinea, the Senegalese international plans 2 hours of non-stop live accompanied by a team of 29 musicians with a price available for all levels.

“It’s his first time doing a concert here, he came for a music video but it’s his very first concert on Guinean soil. And he will give his all in 2h30 with his dancers and his animators,” said this organizer.

Also in the spotlight of the press briefing, Mor Fall, president of Senegalese youth in Guinea, urged the entire community to show solidarity.

“Senegalese youth are ready to support our artist Wali Seck.

Wali was born in music, raised in music and he makes music so I think he’s someone who doesn’t get presented nationally and internationally. What remains clear, we Senegalese living in Guinea, that everyone be ready for Wali to be well received first on Thursday, then to accompany him well on the day of the concert. We, the Senegalese community, are ready, we will be there and we will be alongside Guinée Découverte for the success of this great service,” he projected.

For now, tickets are available at 500,000fg, 1,000,000 and 2,000,000fg respectfully for single access, VIP and Vi_Vip tickets which entitle you to a buffet and a cocktail in the company of all the Guinean musical cream.
