An entrepreneurial director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Plc, a company listed in the engineering sector in the capital market, has completed the transfer of shares as previously announced. On Sunday (September 22), this information was revealed by Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE).
Entrepreneur director of Walton Hitech S. M. Shamsul Alam. He transferred a total of 3 crore 64 lakh 39 thousand 253 shares of the company. Out of this, he gave 91 lakh 75 thousand 701 shares to his daughter Tahmina Afroz Tanna (a director of the company), 1 crore 81 lakh 75 thousand 701 shares to his other daughter Sabiha Zarin Orona (common shareholder of the company) and to his wife Shahinur Akhter Jolly (common shareholder of the company). 90 lakh 87 thousand 851 shares were given as a gift.
On September 15, he announced the transfer of the discussed shares outside the trading system of DSE.
Walton Hi-Tech Industries listed on the capital market in 2020. The paid up capital of this ‘A’ category company is 302 crores 92 lakhs 80 thousand taka. According to that, the total number of shares of the company is 30 crore 29 lakh 28 thousand 343. As of August 31 this year, the company’s entrepreneurial directors hold 98.51 percent, institutional investors hold 0.66 percent, foreign investors hold 0.10 percent and general investors hold 0.73 percent.
