jpnn.comJAKARTA – Deputy Minister of Religion (Wamenag) Saiful Rahmat Dasuki invited State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to emulate the noble morals of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in carrying out their duties as public servants.

He conveyed this at the 2024 Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Commemoration event entitled “The Prophet’s Message of Peace, Strengthening the Character of the New Archipelago, Advanced Indonesia”, at the HM Rasjidi Auditorium, Ministry of Religion Office, Jakarta, Monday (23/9).

“If you become a civil servant or public official, be moral, humble, respect others, tolerant, and so on,” he said.

Saiful explained that the noble morals taught by the Prophet Muhammad SAW are the foundation that must be followed by every Muslim, including in the world of bureaucracy.

By emulating these morals, ASN can maintain integrity, build the nation, and strengthen harmony.

“The Prophet was sent to perfect morals, and we must realize this, not only in our personal lives, but also in our roles as public servants,” he added.

Saiful also said that success is not only measured by professional achievements, but also by a person’s efforts to maintain ethics and morality.

This, he added, can be seen in various fields, including in the implementation of the Hajj pilgrimage this year, where the Hajj pilgrim satisfaction index reached 88.20 percent according to a survey by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), with a very satisfactory category.
