SOLO – Wamenparekraf Angela Tanoesoedibjo opened the 2023 Solo International Performing Arts (SIPA) event on Thursday 31 August 2023 evening. The event, which will last until Saturday (2/9/2023), will be enlivened by 291 artists from various countries.
The SIPA 2023 show carries the theme Say All With Arts and will be enlivened by 291 artists and officials from Lithuania, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, Japan and Taiwan as well as delegates from Medan, Riau, Banjarmasin, Jogja, Kendari, Kupang to Kutai Kartanegara.
SIPA Director Irawati Kusumorasri said this was the 15th art and culture event held since it was first held in 2009 at Pamedan Pura Mangkunegaran. SIPA is supported by the Solo City Government and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.
The woman who is familiarly called Ira conveyed that SIPA 2023 was enlivened by foreign and domestic delegations. There are eight foreign delegates who will show off on stage. Namely, Lithuania, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, Japan and Taiwan.
Meanwhile, the domestic delegates who participated came from Medan, Riau, Banjarmasin, Jogja to Kutai Kertanegara.
“Later there will be collaborative performances from domestic and foreign delegations on the stage at SMKN 8 Solo. This is a form of appreciation for students, especially dance,” he said.
Ira added that the committee also held a SIPA urban market for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The event is to provide space for MSMEs in Bengawan City.
The creative market provides a variety of food, fashion, crafts and other products. The event was attended by the Deputy Head of the Perindo Party for Digital & Creative Economy, Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Sampeyan Dalem Ingkang Jumeneng Kangjeng Gusti Prince Adipati Arya Mangkunegara (MN) X Bhre Cakrahutomo.
