jpnn.comJAKARTA – Galatasaray, the Turkish giant club, is reportedly approaching Paris Saint-Germain to borrow center back Milan Skriniar.

“Galatasaray have approached PSG to discuss a loan agreement for Milan Skriniar,” wrote journalist Fabrizio Romano via his official account at X, Wednesday (1/1).

In his statement, Romano reported that Galatasaray is currently monitoring Skriniar, who has yet to determine his future at the French capital club after being brought in from Inter Milan in the July 2023 season on a free transfer.

“The Turkish club is waiting for Skriniar to make a final decision about the future club he wants to join,” added the Italian journalist.

Since being brought in from Inter, Skriniar has appeared 37 times in all competitions, contributing one goal, and won three domestic trophies in his first season, namely the French League, French Cup and French Super Cup.

However, this season, the 29-year-old defender from Slovakia is having a difficult time after not being Luis Enrique’s main choice in defense.

This season, Enrique prefers the duo of Marquinhos and William Pacho as PSG’s center back.

Skriniar has only made five appearances this season with a total of 381 minutes played, all of which occurred in the French League. Those five appearances came when PSG played against Stade Brestois, Rennes, Strasbourg, Angers and Toulouse. (antara/jpnn)
