The man killed in the officer-involved shooting was the suspect in a Gresham homicide earlier that day, according to the Portland Police Bureau (PPB). The Gresham Police Department (GPD) identified the suspect in connection to a homicide that occurred around 7 a.m. on Sept. 24.
