And Russian military transport plane Il-76 with 65 Ukrainian prisoners on board crashed this Wednesday in the Belgorod regionbordering Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Telegram.
The military note specifies that the plane, in which Six crew members and three Russian soldiers were also traveling.transported prisoners to be exchanged for Russian soldiers held by the Ukrainian army.
The Il-76 crashed at approximately 11:00 local time (09:00 in Spanish peninsular time) about 50 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. The accident took place 5-6 kilometers from the village of Yablonovo, in the Korochansky district, where it did not cause any personal or material damage, local residents reported to the TASS agency.
