Nasreen Kadri opens the spring with “Khishtet in my way”, a new pop ballad tailored by Dolly and Penn. Although Nasreen sings with emotion and the text is excellent and personal which is evident because it tells the story of her life and feelings, but the melody is quite boring, the arrangement does not do her voice that much favor, and her performance is also quite weak, compared to her other songs which she performed with a lot of emotion and power.
On the one hand, the song has great meaning and lyrics, but on the other hand, the production and the melody do not serve the text properly in my eyes, so it is missed. It’s a shame, she has the potential and deserves to come back into the picture in a big way.
