Europe is the continent with the fastest rate of warming caused by climate change in the world. The continent’s average temperature is already 2.3ºC higher than that of the pre-industrial era, warns Professor Petteri Taalas, secretary general of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). The data is cited in a report published by the UN and the European program Copernicus, this Monday (19).
