Batting first, England openers Jos Buttler and Alex Hales combined to score quickly. Buttler and Alex Hales both scored fifties and set the tone for a great start.
They scored 132 runs for the first wicket in 11.2 overs. Buttler, who scored a brilliant half-century, scored 68 runs off 32 balls with 8 fours and 4 sixes. After that, Ben Stokes(9), Harry Brook(12), Moeen Ali(10) and Sam Karan(2) were all out of the middle order at one end and Alex Hales, who was batting at the other end, scored 84 runs off 51 balls and missed the century. England team scored 208 runs in 20 overs.
Chasing a tough target of 209 runs, Australian opener Cameron Greene was bowled out by one run, and Mitchell Marsh, who came in at number three, scored 36 runs off 26 balls. Captain Aaron Finch was dismissed for 12 runs.
Despite falling wickets at one end, opener David Warner, who remained consistent in this match like last time, scored a half-century. Marcus Stoinis partnered him for the 4th wicket with 35 off 15 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes. But he was dismissed without continuing his action batting for some time. While leading the Australian team to victory by scoring a brilliant half-century, Warner, who scored 73 runs off 44 balls, was also dismissed in the 17th over.

After that, Matthew Wade scored 21 runs in 15 balls and was dismissed in the 3rd ball of the last over. The Australian team, which scored 200 runs in 20 overs, lost by 8 runs.
