The United States Ambassador to Tajikistan, Manuel Micaler, said that his country demands that Tajikistan participate in the Trans-Caspian trade route project, which connects China to Europe through the Caspian Sea and the countries of Asia and the Caucasus .

The international trade transport route goes through the Caspian, from China and then Kazakhstan through the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan and Georgia to European countries. It is transported by containers using rail and sea transport.
