This gold watch was discovered from the body of John Jacob Astor. John Jacob was traveling on the Titanic with his new wife when the ship sank.
This gold watch was sold for 1.2 million British pounds (over 40 million Pakistani rupees). This watch has set the record for the highest auction price among items found on the Titanic. The record was previously held by a violin that sold for £1.1 million in 2013.

This watch was auctioned by an American company. According to the company, the £1.2 million includes all taxes and fees. During the auction, a violin case from the Titanic was also sold for 360,000 pounds.
