Large forces of YSM and police blocked the road to the Chumash settlement in northern Samaria. Dozens of vehicles were stopped there, making their way to the Chumash Yeshiva for the “Malva Malka” event which was planned to strengthen the yeshiva.
As you may recall, last week the army blocked over 80 vehicles at that point and finally hundreds of people marched on foot to the Sebastia junction, on the way to the Chumash, where they staged a protest against the blockade of the axis.
A convoy of dozens of vehicles bypassed the first checkpoints on dirt roads and now a “Malwa Malka” event is taking place in the middle of the road to Chumash. According to the participants, the event takes place as a protest event in protest of the closure of the travel route to the Chumash.
The Chumash Yeshiva said: “The blockade is proof of our claim that since the assassination the government has decided to reward terrorism and destroy the yeshiva that has been operating in the Chumash for 15 years. We thank the many supporters who come to Chumash every day
