A short time ago, thousands of students, rabbis and public figures gathered at the Western Wall and in yeshiva and seminaries across the country, to pray for the healing of the elder of the religious Zionist rabbis, Rabbi Haim Druckman.
Earlier today, the directors of the Hesder yeshiva union sent a message calling on all yeshiva to come en masse to the Western Wall and participate in the prayer for the rabbi’s healing. In addition, it is written that all the yeshivots will pray together from anywhere throughout the country at the same time as the prayer held at the Western Wall: “We will gather at the same time who can in the plaza of the Western Wall, and at the same time in the yeshivot halls at any site. As mentioned, last Friday the rabbi was not feeling well, and after performing various tests – it turned out that he was positive for the corona virus. The rabbi’s condition did not improve until the last day, when it was reported that “thanks to the prayers of the dear public and the efforts of the dedicated doctors, there was a slight improvement in the rabbi’s condition.”
His relatives said last night that “he is very weak, mostly sleeping. We need prayers for his healing. We need to shout that we want him here.” It was also reported that “the rabbi is at home and is being treated by the team of doctors who accompany him in routine and emergency situations. According to the doctors treating the rabbi, the rabbi is still considered to be in a serious and stable condition. The public is asked to pray a lot.”
