Fire and rescue barges are publishing this evening (Saturday night) documentation from the helmet of the firefighter who worked at the scene of the fire that broke out on Saturday night in Bnei Brak.

As I recall, and as was reported earlier this evening in the Shabbat Square, on Saturday night, at 4:55 p.m., many reports were received at the 102nd Command of the Dan District about a fire incident in a residential apartment on Hefetz Haim Street in Bnei Brak.

Five firefighting and ladder teams from the Bnei Brak, Ramat Gan and Givatayim stations under the command of the shift commander Rashef Aviram Mordechai were rushed to the scene. On their way to the fire, the fighters spotted thick smoke from a distance coming from the building and also noticed tongues of fire from the windows of the apartment.

The crews on the scene reported a fire on the third and last floor of the building and that the tile roof of the building had collapsed. The teams began external assault operations in several sectors at the same time as infiltrating the building and scanning for trapped people.

The district AGM officer, deputy Tafsar Merav Smet, deputy commander of the Bnei Brak station, deputy Tafsar Ronan Wallach, and the AGM officer of the Bnei Brak station, Rabbi Reshef Hazi Tsefania, were called to the event.

After a prolonged firefight and searches for trapped people in all the apartments of the building, at 18:50 the incident was declared under control. The incident ended without casualties but with heavy damage to the apartments on the upper floors and the roof of the building.

The city engineer arrived at the scene to determine the continued stay in the building. An arson investigator was called to the scene to investigate the circumstances of the fire outbreak.
