It may have been a warm-up game against a team that plays in the amateur leagues in Italy, but Luca Jovic’s opening shot at Fiorentina was most impressive. In a game in which his new team defeated Vicenza 0: 7, the Serbian striker scored no less than four goals when he came on the field only at the start of the second half.
As you may recall, Jovic moved to Fiorentina this summer on a free transfer from Real Madrid. During three years in the Blancos’ white uniform, Jovic failed to take a real place in the rotation and managed to score just three goals in all competitions in 51 appearances. In the season that will start soon, he will try to return to great form from Eintracht Frankfurt, from where he made the leap to one of the strongest teams on the continent for no less than 63 million euros.
