During the plenary debates tonight, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett came in to vote in favor of the Bags Law, and the chairman of the Shas faction, MK Michael Malkieli, shouted at him: “Why did you come to harm the weak?” Bennett in response asked him: “Why when I come you always shout, come and say hello.”
Malkieli did not move or move and responded with contempt to Bennett, who was sitting alone around the cabinet table: “You have no bureau, you have no seats, I will not come to you.” Malkieli added, “What are you coming for, to harm the weak?” Bennett tried to call the Shas MKs for a conversation, but they ignored him and looked at him with contempt.
