About four years ago, singer Zvika Pick felt unwell during an El Al flight from London to Ben Gurion Airport. The plane made a special landing at Vienna Airport and from there Pick turned for treatment and tests. Because he is returning to the stages, and last night he made his debut in a broadcast on “Keshet 12.”
As part of a tribute evening for him, as part of a fundraising broadcast for the Halasartan organization, which was established by the artists’ agent Zohar Jacobson in memory of her late daughter Tal Jacobson, who died at the age of 26 from cancer. As part of the evening, NIS 6 million was raised as a donation to “Halasartan”, a community of young people who are ill and recovering from cancer (aged 18-44). The association provides a home and network of support for the unique needs affected by the disease – sexuality, young relationships, fertility, loneliness, careers, financial independence, young parenting and more.
“Fun, we have the greatest giving and mutual guarantee (when needed),” wrote one of the surfers on Keshet 12’s Facebook page. “An exciting combination and gesture of Halasartan, an initiative and a blessed mission, and we do not have the moment of truth. “Wow, an evening and an exciting broadcast on the levels, cheers. Cheers to Zvika Pick for the most exciting show I have ever known, and in general you will be blessed for your work for Halasartan, with her health and success for the recovering, you felt tears.”
During the evening, Noa Kirl, Itai Levy, Tamir Greenberg, Ella-Lee, Zehava Ben, Yuval Dayan, Anna Zack and Harel Skaat performed new and surprising performances of Pick’s super-temporary hits. The show was moderated by Aviv Alush and Sandy Bar. Kevin Robin and Riff Loyal led the fundraiser.
