The height of the waves in the Caspian Sea reached 4 meters.

As Day.Az reports, this is stated in the report on the actual weather of the National Hydrometeorological Service.

According to the data, the weather throughout the country was mostly rainless. In accordance with the “orange” warning, the northwest wind at times increased to 28 m/s in Sheki, 24 m/s in Lachin, 23 m/s in Oguz, 22 m/s in Terter.

According to the “yellow” warning, in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula the wind reached 19 m/s, in Kalbajar – 21 m/s, in Zangilan and Barda – 20 m/s, in Mingachevir, Naftalan and Dashkesan – 18 m/s, in Agdam, Shamkir, Goygol and Gadabey – up to 16 m/s.

According to the Neftyanye Kamni station, the wave height in the Caspian Sea reached 4 meters. The minimum air temperature was: in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula up to +3 degrees, in lowland areas – up to +2 degrees, in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic – up to -7 degrees, in mountainous areas – up to -10 degrees below zero.
