Kurup is a film based on the life of Sukumarakurup, the notorious Ptikitapulli in Kerala. Dulqar became Sukumarakurup. The film was directed by Srinath Rajendran. The screenplay and dialogues of the film are written by Jithin K Jose and the story is composed by Daniel Sayuj Nair and KS Aravind.
