BCAM NAUKAS, Pi Day will be held on March 14 at the Bizkaia Aretoa in Bilbao

The next Monday day March 14, 2023we will celebrate a new edition of the special event dedicated to mathematics at the Bizkaia Aretoa (UPV/EHU) in Bilbao: BCAM NAUKAS, the day of Pi. This event takes place thanks to Basque Center for applied Mathematics and the Chair of Scientific Culture from the University of the Basque Country, and will feature some of the most interesting figures in popular mathematics in our country.

It will be a day full of activities, workshops and entertaining and interesting talks both in the morning and in the afternoon and will include math workshops, to bring mathematics closer to primary and secondary students in a playful and attractive way. In the afternoon, we will continue with the celebration of this day through 15-minute, dynamic and close scientific talks that will be given in the Mitxelena room in Bizkaia Aretoa, through which we will learn about the properties and applications of the number pi in daily life.
