Where and how to request e-service for one-time help for students between I-IV and VIII-Class?
Parents can apply for one-time aid for students through the Portal of the Ministry of Electronic Government – egov.bg. Each family whose children are enrolled in the first, second, third, fourth and eighth grades of school is granted a one-time grant to cover part of the costs at the beginning of the school year, when the children live permanently in the country and are not placed to be raised outside the family. The aid is granted regardless of the family’s income.
More information on the submission of applications and accompanying documents electronically for the academic year 2024/2025 can be found at egov.bg. Access to the Portal is possible with a personal identification code of the NRA or NOI, as well as with an electronic signature. Electronic services can be found in the section “Work, pension, social assistance”, heading “Social assistance”. Applications for the one-off aid can be submitted until 15 October 2024.

Student aid is paid in two installments of BGN 150 each – at the beginning of the first and second term, in case the child continues his studies. No new application is submitted for receiving the second payment, as the verification of whether the child continues to study again is an official process.
