We’ll have a lot of games, a lot of pace, but as a player, that’s what you want. I believe that it will only add quality to the national team”, J. Lasickas taught.
He also recalled the very recent control confrontation with Friday’s opponent and said that the national team should set itself the only goal – to win.
“We had to meet the opponent not so long ago, this is a southern team that plays technical football, but I think we are really capable of beating them and that is the only goal, there can be no other goal.
It will be a good test of our capacity and seeing our already long-term work with this staff, because we want to have a tangible result, and we will try to show that in the match against Cyprus”, hoped the player.
The football player also mentioned the fact that in the last days before the match, the question about the quality of the Darius and Girėnas stadium keeps coming up.
“Whether you want it or not, that information reaches us, we see those pictures, but we trust it. We’ve got to do our job, we’re going to go out and play on whatever pitch it is. It is nice that we have a stadium, but we would like to have not only a stadium, but also a fair lawn. I hope that the field will be fixed and we will be able to show a good game there”, said J. Lasickas.
