Enel spokesperson Alejandra Pereira stated that the company has all necessary teams deployed, but acknowledged that plans may change due to the dynamic situation. While Enel is working to restore electricity after massive outages across various municipalities, they cannot guarantee service restoration by Wednesday as previously promised.
Since last Thursday, Enel Distribución has been working tirelessly to resolve the emergency and restore service to customers as soon as possible. Despite their efforts, the company has not yet met their target of limiting the number of customers without power to less than 100,000.
Pereira emphasized that Enel has all teams on the ground and is working diligently to restore power to the last customer.
When asked about the possibility of restoring full service by Wednesday, Pereira admitted that while it is within their estimates, the situation is dynamic and subject to change depending on any unforeseen issues.
Enel remains committed to restoring power as quickly as possible, prioritizing essential customers who rely on electricity.
